Your server creates the order
Call POST /api/v1/checkout with the amount and your own order ID. You get a checkout link back.

The customer pays
They land on the Prime Pay checkout, scan the QR or tap their UPI app, and pay the exact amount.

Prime Pay matches the payment
The payment notification is matched against amount, order code, expiry and UTR. Anything that doesn’t match stays pending.

A signed payment.verified webhook lets your site mark the order paid and deliver the item.

Before you connect a site.
Customers can pay from FamApp (FamPay) exactly like any other UPI app: they scan the QR or tap their app and pay the exact amount, and Prime Pay verifies the payment automatically. Prime Pay is an independent product and is not affiliated with FamPay.

It reads payment notification emails from the connected Gmail account and matches them against open orders by exact amount, order code, expiry and UTR. Opening a checkout never counts as payment.
No. Prime Pay is a private layer that generates standard UPI QR codes to your own UPI ID. It isn’t an official merchant API of Razorpay, PhonePe, FamPay or any bank, and it doesn’t hold your money.
The order is marked as late-paid instead of lost, so you can decide whether to deliver. The customer can also enter their UTR on the checkout to verify.
Yes. Add each of your own sites in the admin dashboard. Every site gets its own API key and webhook secret, which you can rotate any time.
Usually not. When the payment email arrives and only one pending order has that amount, Prime Pay verifies it automatically. If two customers are paying the same amount at the same time, both are asked to enter their UTR so the right order is verified.
